Web management comes easy for Calif. town

Online since the mid-1990s, the city of Rialto, Calif.'s Web site had limited space, was difficult to maintain and badly needed a redesign.

Nearly two dozen departmental contributors have increased the size of the site to over 1000 pages within the first few weeks of the site's launch. The redeveloped site reflects the City's commitment to providing services to the community while providing information to various parties outside city limits.

Rather than outsource maintenance of a newly designed site, city leaders opted to install a system that lets non-technical employees update the site's content.
